It sprawled across the southern reaches of the Underworld, its tendrils of darkness stretching east and west along the banks of the River Styx. While the Lord of the Underworld had access to numerous clandestine entrances, he chose to guide Persephone along the authentic path trodden by all souls destined for the deepest recesses of his realm.
